The Entropy Institute was founded by Pragnan Saha.

He completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Technology) from NIT Agartala, where he was awarded the Institute Gold Medal for securing the first rank in his discipline with a CGPA of 9.71/10. This follows his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (8.65 CGPA), 91% in his CBSE 12th Board, and a perfect 10 CGPA in the CBSE 10th Board exams from Ramakrishna Mission School, demonstrating a consistent record of academic excellence.

After his undergraduate studies, Pragnan turned down numerous job offers to pursue his passion for teaching. With over five years of experience, he has taught students of all ages, from primary school to university level, with a focus on helping students in grades 9-12 prepare for entrance and board exams. His teaching philosophy is centered on helping students build a true, intuitive understanding of physics, free from the fear of asking questions.

Currently, Pragnan has returned to full-time research and is a Junior Research Fellow at the IIT Delhi, where he is developing advanced computational models. The educational principles of the Entropy Institute are directly informed by his ongoing engagement with cutting-edge science.
